At the office: Maria Evoli
Maria Evoli is an up and coming talented multidisciplinary actress from Mexico City, and my friend. Over the past few years we have worked together on multiple magazine covers, editorials, and failed attempts on my part to interview her. Grateful for Maria’s patience and always being down to create magic together.
We finally got together after a few months of trying to a get solid weekend to hang out and capture these amazing final stills.
I started styling a few years back, and truly enjoy doing it with talented people who believe in the vision you have, and don’t question where you are taking it. Maria always believes in the vision even if I am putting multiple leg stockings and a random set of items we bought the day before on her.
I’ve been getting into more of a craft style styling, lol. Which to me just means to style with what you have and probably a low budget. For Maria’s shoot, we where just having fun, and aimed to to see what we would get.
First look:
Literal baby tee + Street vendor sunglasses + Leg stockings, and Maria’s Chanel slippers.
Second Look:
A play of basic items and a of leg stockings. I decided to put even ore more right the end to cover the shoes as well. I guess it reminded me of a Balenciaga vibe I ended up liking it.
Look 2.5 - Then we took a little detour, and switched to using a body shaper item, and well Maria being a badass.
Look 3 - was playing on the last look for the bottom part but the red polo was pulling me in when we where at the store, and end up just cutting of half of it. It had to be done.
Look 4 - Levis 501’s + Black tank top
The jeans fitted way to good on Maria so I gave up gifting them to her. She definitely earned them. I can’t deny someone from a pair of vintage jeans that fit perfectly, its to cruel. It was mean to be.
Hope you enjoyed this photos, and get to see Maria’s work over at her IG.
See you at the office
